Bio

Amanda Kelso is passionate about technology and storytelling, and how together they can shape communities. She has over 25 years of experience as a creative communications and brand leader for global technology companies and has also contributed her skills to non-profit organizations. Most recently Amanda was the Acting CEO of Sundance Institute for two years, where she championed independent storytelling and supported the next generation of artists. Previously, she fostered Instagram’s community of more than one billion people, served as the Managing Director of Google Creative Lab, and provided digital creative leadership at Goodby Silverstein & Partners and West Ventures, among others. Earlier in her career, Amanda worked on television productions including Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood. She holds a BA in Film and Media Studies from Columbia College, Columbia University.
